For 4 years now the Bigfork Independent Film Festival has been bringing the best Montana-made films to Bigfork. In fact, we are the ONLY film festival in the world that focuses exclusively on Montana filmmakers. From April 3rd through April 5th we take over the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts and present 20 films in 5 different categories including Features, Shorts, Doc Features, Doc Shorts and Student films. A mix of movies are put into 2-hour blocks that showcase the best filmmakers have to offer, all in the comfort of the BCPA. In addition to showing great movies we also provide industry guest speakers, 3 filmmaker workshops, 2 Montana released films (Mickey and the Bear, and Life Interrupted), a VIP Lounge and for the first time a BIFF Screenwriting Competition.
