Please join us at this community event featuring a continued education course on end-of-life care, sponsored by Frontier Hospice. This two hour educational program, titled Soul Injury, discusses the occurrence of un-mourned loss and unforgiven guilt that frequently manifest during a client’s last days of life. This program is aimed at enlightening healthcare professionals on how to help relieve this burden for our clients, and how to provide competent and compassionate care in regards to “soul injuries.” This class features an educational film, followed by a thirty minute post-program discussion. The course is worth 2 CE credits approved for multiple careers including nurses, CNAs, social workers, and counselors. Attendance is free, and all are welcome to participate. For those interested in receiving the CE credits, there is a $12 fee per individual. We will be holding the event in the Education Center at Immanuel Lutheran on Friday April 6th, from 3-5pm.
