GLACIER TWINS AUCTION FUNDRAISER
 
The Glacier Twins annual fundraiser and auction will be held Saturday, April 14th at
the Whitefish Moose Lodge. A live auction featuring 16 themed packages, such as a
Weekend Stay in West Glacier: Package includes two nights in family cabin, a rafting
trip, a gift certificate for dinner at the Izaak Walton Inn, a picnic lunch from Coopers
restaurant and a Glacier Park pass. A cruiser bicycle, painted with sunflowers, is
another item that will be auctioned off at the event. Silent auction merchandise donated
by area businesses will give attendees an opportunity to support the Twins and take
home a gift.
 
The evening kicks off at 7 with bidding on silent auction items followed by the live
auction at 8 pm. The evening will also feature a complimentary taco bar and a no-host
bar with cocktail service. All of the funds raised from this event will be used to support
the Twins’ program and the players’ travel expenses.
 
The Glacier Twins, an American Legion team, provides baseball instruction and and a
competitive baseball experience for high school and college athletes, ages 16-19 years
from the Flathead Valley with players from Whitefish, Columbia Falls, and Bigfork. The
non-profit program allows players to showcase their abilities just for the fun of the sport,
or for some to play college ball and beyond.
