The Swan Rangers meets at Echo Lake Cafe on the Swan Highway near Bigfork for breakfast at 8:30, leaving at 9:30 for a partial day outing in the nearby Swan Range.
Those not wishing to join the group for breakfast can simply show up in the Swan River School parking lot across the street from the Echo Lake Café to carpool for the day's outing.
Meeting times, a suggested gear list, and archived photo-reports of past Swan Ranger outings can all be found on the "hiking" page at www.swanrange.org.
The Swan Rangers began taking outings together in 2005 and have since completed 260 outings.
This is a "stop and smell the roses" hiking club and folks of all skill levels are welcome.
