FVCC AND LITERACY VOLUNTEERS TO HOLD BOOK DRIVE
 
                Flathead Valley Community College’s Renewable Resource Club and the Literacy Volunteers of Flathead County will host a book drive April 16 through April 20.
 
                The event will aim to promote literacy and recruit new learners by giving the donated books to kids, teens and adults at local food banks and other service agencies.  Community members are encouraged to donate their new or gently-used books for the cause. 
 
                Donation boxes will be housed in the foyers of Blake Hall, the Arts and Technology Building, and the Learning Resource Center on the college campus.    The buildings will be open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
