Wildflower Identification
7:00 PM
Glacier Discovery Square
Description:
Join the Flathead Chapter of the Montana Native Plant Society for Wildflower Identification.  7 pm,  Wednesday, April 18th  We are back at Glacier Discovery Square this month, 540 Nucleus Avenue, Columbia Falls.

Learning a few key characteristics of plant families is a great way to either start identifying our glorious wildflowers or to refresh your memory for the upcoming spring and summer blooms.  A few diagrams and numerous flower photos will teach participants how to identify members of the pea, mustard, carrot, heather, saxifrage and pink families.

Come early to browse the great selection of plant books and field guides available in the Dee Strickler silent book auction.  The auction closes tonight so be sure to come collect your books with a check or cash.

The program is free and open to the public. Everyone is also invited to a 5:30 general meeting to discuss Native Plant Society business and projects.
