The sky is falling, and the Lyrids are here! The Lyrid meteor shower occurs between April 16th to the 25th and comes after a long lull in meteors between January and April. During this ranger led program, we will explore the ways in which meteors affect life on earth as we watch them fly through the night sky. Bring a chair or a picnic blanket to lay out and observe meteors flashing around us. Please dress for the weather and bring water and a snack if you need it!
We will meet up at the visitor center to settle in for our start gazing!
