Earth Day Service Project
6:30 PM
Lone Pine State Park
Description:
During Earth Week, we like to reflect on all the good things the earth has given us. We also want to give back to the earth and help the beings that live here thrive. For our Earth Day service project, we will be pulling noxious weeds at Lone Pine. These weeds do not allow native plants to grow and can be harmful to the ecosystem. Help our native plants grow by volunteering at Lone Pine to pull some noxious weeds. We will meet at the visitor center to go over safety measures and get pulling locations assigned. Please bring work gloves if you have them, wear good shoes for hiking and dress for the weather. Call the visitor center at (406) 755-2706 ext. 0 to register, as space is limited. Cost is free.
