Bird Songs of the Forest Workshop
10:00 AM
Lone Pine State Park
Have you ever been outside and wondered “what is making that noise?” Join us and Flathead Audubon Conservation Educator, Denny Olson, for World Migratory Bird Day as we give you the tools to decipher the songs of birds coming into the Flathead Valley during their migration. During this workshop we will talk about the different types of bird sounds and how you can pick them out among the chorus of the forest. Denny will also be leading us in a guided hike to test our skills out on the trails of Lone Pine. Please bring good shoes for hiking and dress for the weather. Bring water and a snack if you need one!
