This is a half day intro level class for new rifle owners and beginning shooters, to learn how to safely and effectively use a rifle and hit what they aim at. We'll cover safety rules, loading, proper position and sight usage, steps to firing the shot, as well as the role of the citizen rifleman in American history. Live fire will take place at 25 meters, at scaled down targets. All rifles are welcome, but .22's are encouraged for new shooters, and .22 ammo will be available for sale for use at the event.
