Description:
Join former science teacher Linda Smith at the Whitefish Community Center on Thursday, June 26 at 1:00 pm for an informative and educational presentation about Yellowstone National Park, The World's First National Park.
On March 1, 1872, Yellowstone's 2.2 million acres were set aside to be protected for all to enjoy the unique hydrothermal features and abundant wildlife. We will explore this rare, intact ecosystem, with geothermal areas that contain about half the world's active geysers, and view geological wonders like the "Grand Canyon of Yellowstone River."
Come and learn about this National Park near to our own backyard. The presentation is FREE and all ages are invited. Come join us!
