Summer Speaker Series: Fish of the Flathead

Description:
Find out how geology, climate and European Man shaped the current Flathead fishery. Learn about fish biology, how fish are adapted to current conditions and how that will help or hurt species moving into the future. Learn some fun facts about fish and explore some of the current challenges in fisheries management.

Jim Vashro retired after 30 years as the FWP regional fisheries manager in northwest Montana. Jim continues to promote fish and their habitat, to teach fishing classes and explore the neat places fish live with fishing rod in hand.
