SWAN LAKE, MT… For more than 40 years, the second Saturday of August has always meant a great day of food and fun on the shores of Swan Lake. And on Saturday, August 8, the tradition will continue as the original Swan Lake Huckleberry Festival will take place at the Swan Lake Day Park near mile marker 72 on Montana Highway 83. Admission is free.

Scheduled activities include a huckleberry pancake breakfast and a huckleberry baking contest at 11 am. The Arts and Crafts Fair will feature more than 50 booths where artists and craftsmen will feature their Montana-made and handmade works. Food trucks and vendors will provide a wide variety of food and drink. Other scheduled events include a baking contest, silent auction, raffles and kids’ games. The traditional huckleberry pies and treats will be available to enjoy. There will be music throughout the day.

The Swan Lake Huckleberry Festival is sponsored by the Swan Lake Chamber of Commerce and Community Club.
