Conrad Mansion
Description:
Kalispell’s Conrad Mansion Museum announces that it is one of 75 institutions in the United States selected to participate in the Collections Assessment for Preservation (CAP) program.

CAP helps museums improve the care of their collections by providing support for a general conservation assessment of the museum’s collections and buildings. The Conrad Mansion will host two preservation professionals to assist the Mansion to identify how best to maintain the 125-year-old building and its unique collection for future generations.

The community is invited to attend a presentation and Q&A session during the preservationists’ visit to Kalispell. The Conrad Mansion invites the public to the Conrad Mansion’s porch on September 15th from 6:00pm-7:30pm to hear from Leslie Gilmore, a preservation architect and former Director of Historic Preservation Services and Beverly Perkins, Division Director of Museum Services from the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. Attendees are encouraged to come with questions about your family heirloom or historic house to get recommendations from the preservation experts! Tickets are $10 per person can be purchased at www.conradmansion.com or by calling 406-755-2166.
