Description:#OutsietyCrew, let’s get together and enjoy the awesome fall colors along the Hungry Horse Dam. Mindy says this is her favorite fall ride...when the Tamaracks put on a great show! Marianne Evenhuis and Mindy Matarazzo invite you to join them on this ride.

We are beginning from the West side of the dam. The ride is on a wide road, great pavement, very little traffic, and perfect rolling hills. This will be about enjoying the fall colors and not about going fast. Suitable for any working road or mountain bike. After the ride we will stop at Backslope for a beverage or two.

-WHEN: Tuesday, October 9
-TIME: 12:30 pm, leaving the parking lot at 12:45 pm
-MEETING PLACE: Sportsman & Ski Haus, Whitefish parking lot. Look for a white Suburban. We will load bikes and workout carpooling when we meet (please bring some $ to contribute to gas for the drivers).
-BRING: Working road or mountain bike, bear spray, water, snacks, layers, tire repair kit (if you have one & just in case) and smiles.

We will drive to the Hungry Horse Dam and park on the west side of dam. The ride should take about 2 hours. Maybe longer if we are stopping to enjoy the colors and take pics. After the ride we will head to Backslope Brewing for some tasty beverages and possibly a snack, then return to Whitefish after that (posted end time is approximate). Hammer Nutrition will fuel us too!

Elevation gain: 1023 feet.
