Nick Spear grew up in San Diego, but always dreamed of colder climates. He eventually wandered his way to Montana, where he found his true creative footing. His melodramatic goth upbringing crashed against the ranch fences of Montana to form a style that is western, but not country… theatrical, but not theatre… contemplative and brooding, but often tinged with a wry wit… and always leaning towards something dark and sparkling.
