Our opening concert features music from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries by Johannes Brahms, Alexander Glazunov and Maestro Zoltek. Violinist Yevgeny Kutik will bring his captivating technique and expressive artistry to the stage as soloists in the rarely heard but musically exquisite Violin Concerto in A minor by Alexander Glazunov. Johannes Brahms’ popular Symphony No. 2 in D Major, a Classical-Romantic masterpiece will be a perfect compliment. Zoltek’s dynamic symphonic poem, Processional, will open the program, one of the many pieces we’ll hear from our Maestro this season!
