Film Club screens Western adventure Last of the Dogmen Description:
Lewis Gates is on a mission: to find the lost Dog Soldiers, a fabled band of Cheyenne American Indians that escaped to the Montana woods over a century ago. Together with archaeologist Linda Sloan, Gates heads into the mountains to find the true story. He ends up finding much more.

The film is set in the Oxbow Quadrangle, a forest region supposedly in Northwest Montana. Reality’s geography is quite different than the film’s: the real life Oxbow Quadrangle is on the boarder of Idaho and Oregon, and Last of the Dogmen was actually filmed in Canada and Mexico.

There is no charge for the film, and donations will be accepted to help defray the cost of showing the films. The movie and popcorn are free; wine, beer, pop and water will be for sale. Seating is provided, but film fans can bring their own floor pillows, portable chairs, or whatever is comfortable for viewing the film.
