The Irish Christmas in America show celebrates the customs and traditions of an old Irish Christmas through music, song and dance. This year's show features some of the finest performers that Ireland has to offer and also includes Aaron Jones from the highly regarded Scottish group, Old Blind Dogs. The event is guaranteed to add a distinct Irish flavor to the festive season and set all in the celebratory mood this special time of year demands. So, get your skates on, come along, and bring family, friends, and foes with you.
The show opens at 7:30 in the Motherlode Theatre, Butte, on Saturday, December 8 and moves to the Dennison [UM] Theatre on UM campus, Missoula, the following day, Sunday, December 9. Tickets cost: advanced - $25; Door - $30; Student - $15; and kids under 12 are free. Tickets are available at Griztix.com, all Griztix outlets, the Motherlode Theatre and the Granite Mountain Bank in Butte, and at Rockin Rudy's in Missoula. This is an Irish Studies fundraiser and all proceeds will go to the Irish Studies program at UM and towards promoting Irish culture and heritage in Montana.
