The Valley Voices Community Choir presents its December concert titled Once Upon A Christmas this year at the Whitefish Performing Arts Center. The concert features familiar Christmas songs like I’ll Be Home for Christmas, less familiar Christmas songs like Deck the Nutcracker Hall, and songs connected to Christmas only through wild imaginings of the music committee like Something Told the Wild Geese. The music will be performed by the whole choir, by the smaller choral ensemble Evensong, by an unnamed barbershop group from the choir, and by guest violinist Wai Mizutani. The concert will be directed by Allyson Kuechmann, now in her 25th year leading the choir. Everyone is invited to attend and admission is free. Performances are Saturday, December 14 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, December 15 at 3 p.m.
