Receivables 101 Workshop Offered at FVCC

Flathead Valley Community College, Montana West Economic Development and area chambers of commerce have teamed up to present a Receivables 101 workshop for members of the local business community. Businesses can select from one of two workshops scheduled for March 11 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and March 19 from 6 to 9 p.m.

The workshop will provide tools to help participants better understand accounts receivable management and to help ensure timely collection of payments without losing customers.

Instructor Lori Marin was selected as one of the "100 Most Influential People in Finance" by Treasury & Risk Magazine and will bring to the workshop more than 30 years of business experience as a financial executive with retail and manufacturing companies. Marin has been an advocate for assisting local Northwest Montana communities by providing business strategy, financial and operational assistance to start-ups and growing companies.
