FLATHEAD VALLEY JOB FAIR WELCOMES AREA JOB SEEKERS

Area job seekers and community members considering a career change will have an opportunity to network with over 70 employers that are actively seeking applicants for current job openings at the 2014 Flathead Valley Job Fair. Presented by Flathead Valley Community College (FVCC) and the Flathead Job Service, the event will take place April 16 in the Arts and Technology Building on the FVCC campus. The event will open for veterans and their families at noon and then will open for the general public from 12:30 to 4 p.m.

Sponsored by TeleTech, MBI Energy Services, Welcov Healthcare, KOFI, The Monster and The Lake radio stations and the Daily Inter Lake, the event will be free and open to the public and is ideal for individuals seeking full-time, part-time or seasonal employment. Job seekers are encouraged to dress professionally, bring copies of their resumes and be prepared to be interviewed at the event.

FVCC and the Flathead Job Service will offer a series of free job fair preparation courses for job seekers in April. Some courses offered include resume and applications assistance, interview training and computer fundamentals. For the full list of offerings, visit www.fvcc.edu/fvjobfair.

All job fair parking will take place at the Kid Sport Complex across Hwy 93, off Four Mile Drive. Free shuttle service will be provided.
