Kayaking races down the Wild Mile. Kayak races include the Lower Slalom visible from the downtown Bigfork bridge and the Expert Slalom on the upper portion of the Wild Mile accessible from the Swan River Nature Trail. Stand Up Paddleboard demo located at the Bigfork bay dock.

The Bigfork Whitewater Festival involves international kayak racing on the 'wild mile' of the Swan River that runs through Bigfork. At the height of spring runoff, the 'Wild Mile' is considered a Class V whitewater. The event draws over 200 competitors along with several thousand spectators.Triathalon, 4 mile paddle, 14 mile bike and 4 mile run.
