Sport Concussion Assessment for High School Athletes:
Tuesday, June 2 at 5pm at the Columbia Falls High School gymnasium. This will take place in conjunction with the school's sports physicals. Testing done by local Physical Therapists (PT), PT Assistants and Athletic Trainers, including Bill Brunett, PT of the North Valley Hospital Physical Therapy in Columbia Falls and Troy Bowman, Athletic Trainer of Columbia Falls School District #6. Assessment will provide a baseline score for athlete of their cognitive and physical abilities so if a concussion would occur it would assist the trainer and physician in returning the athlete safely to their sport.
