The Flathead Area Secular Humanist Association will present Part 2 of the video series "American Freethought" at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 8 at the ImagineIF Library in Kalispell, 247 1st Ave., E.

Parts 3 and 4 of the series will be shown at the library at 10 a.m. the Saturdays of November 22 and December 6.

The "American Freethought" miniseries examines our nation's freethought, atheist and secular heritage from the American Revolution to the 1930s.

Part 2 (Nov. 8) will examine how the abolition movement seeded the women's rights and freethought movements.
Part 3 (Nov. 22) will cover the mainstream press and the alternative press.
Part 4 (Dec. 6) will look at the rise of Roman Catholicism.

The series was produced by the Center for Inquiry, based in Amherst, N.Y.
