The Bigfork Independent Film Festival (BIFF) announces its second annual festival and call for submissions. This boutique film festival is being held April 6 & 7, 2018 at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts in picturesque Bigfork, Montana. For 2018 the festival will be open to filmmakers throughout Northwest Montana.

The purpose of BIFF is to support Northwest Montana filmmaking. Despite small budgets and hectic schedules, these filmmakers work hard to put their vision on the screen. Their films embody a lot more than big effects or spectacle. They embody the passions of everyone involved in creating them. Our mission is to create a place where local films can be watched and enjoyed.

BIFF provides a rare opportunity for Northwest Montana filmmakers to show their work to a local audience. Filmmakers are invited to interact with the audience during a Q&A session following the showing. For the 2018 festival $2,000 in award money is being offered to aspiring filmmakers.
