The Woodstock Trio is performing Saturday, September14 at the Tailing Loop Winery in Evergreen (7:00-9:00), and Wednesday
September 18 at the Cypress Yard in Whitefish (5:00-8:00). The group’s mission is the preservation of music that reflects the
ethos of the 1960’s hippie culture. The audience shares in the creative process as the group explores structural development (jamming)
using techniques known classically as induction and deduction. According to bandleader and music educator, Steve Eckels, "audience members will
recognize and sing along to familiar songs by the Grateful Dead, CCR, Bob Dylan, and many others". The group’s instrumentation includes
harmonica, guitars, bass, mandolin, percussion, and harmonized vocals.
