Come join us for the 1st annual community Thanksgiving Dinner at Calvary Lutheran Church in Evergreen from 2:00-5:00. It's an opportunity to gather together with friends and neighbors to celebrate our individual and shared blessings of good fortune. We seek to re-create fellowship, by focusing on the values of politeness, community and humility. We hope our efforts help strengthen the fabric of the greater community around us.

The Community Thanksgiving Dinner is a non-denominational celebration of the gifts we receive from God. It is open to all, free of charge. This year's meal includes: roast turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, ham, sweet potatoes, dinner rolls, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, and what feast would be complete without desserts such as pumpkin pie, assorted fruit pies, whipped cream, coffee, milk and apple cider.

This event is made possible by the generosity of people in the community who donate their time, talent, food or funds. For anyone looking to volunteer at an event that offers opportunities for fellowship,fun, excitement, and is delicious, the Community Thanksgiving Dinner might fit the bill.

Remember, the Community Thanksgiving Dinner is open to everyone. The success of this event is made possible by broad community support, and volunteers who join together and share in preparing, serving, and eating. You are not required to volunteer or help in order to join us for dinner. We prepare a wonderful meal and want you to come and eat it with us!
