Flathead Valley Community College will host an informational session on its Running Start program for the community.The Running Start program provides eligible high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to get an affordable start on their college education by earning college credits while still in high school. Some courses offer dual credit opportunities which allow students to gain high school and college credits simultaneously.
In-district high school students can get the first six Running Start credits at no cost in tuition and institutional fees. Subsequent credits are offered at a significantly reduced cost.
