The Handmade Holiday artisan show will be held Dec. 7 and 8 at the Bohemian Grange Hall in Whitefish.
Seven local artists have joined together to create an artisan showcase for the upcoming holiday shopping season. The show will feature ceramics by Heidi Haugen and Sally Askevold, fiber art by Sally Glutting, illustrations and prints from Janina Hobday, hand-bound books and paper ephemera by Joan Kallay, and jewelry by Callie Hulslander-Cooper and Erin Hawley.

"Because the show is 100 percent handmade and local, people can find comfort knowing that they are truly getting a one-of-a-kind piece of art," Hulslander-Cooper said. "I hope to see the valley support a local and handmade artisan show, and in the process, fill a niche when it comes to holiday shopping."
The Handmade Holiday was created to showcase fine art and crafts in a relaxed and intimate environment. The Whitefish Christmas Stroll takes place Friday night as well, and people are encouraged to drop by the Bohemian Grange before or after they enjoy the activities downtown.
There will be a reception Dec. 7, with drinks and hors d'oeuvres starting at 5 p.m. The show will run from 5 to 9 p.m. Dec. 7, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 8.
