Winter Solstice Snowshoe Hike Description:
With the shortest day of the year most people find themselves excited that the coming days are going to get longer. To celebrate the shortest day Lone Pine is having this guided snowshoe hike in the dark to celebrate the meaning of dark nights. The winter solstice is very close to the full moon and hopefully we will have clear sky’s to let the moon shine light on our hike. This hike will be roughly 2 miles on snow packed or icy trails, please bring: warm clothes, hiking shoes, snow cleats or snowshoes, snowshoes are provided at a first come first serve basis, head lamp, hat a gloves and water.
